Live Edge Walnut Charcuterie Or Cutting Board
This beautiful live edge cutting board features a double live edge with attractive graining. These boards can be used as cutting boards, charcuterie boards, cheese or bread boards, a serving tray for your morning coffee, or simply as a decorative tray in your home. Each board measures approximately 10” long x 6.5”-7.5” wide x .75-1” thick. Due to the varying pattern of the live edge your board will be between 6.5-7.5” width. Available with or without a 1.5” diameter thumbhole in the corner for easy handling or hanging when not in use. To order, please select with or without thumbholes from the drop-down menu. Our boards are hand cut, sanded to 120 grit, and then sprayed with water to raise the grain before finally being sanded completely smooth up to 320 grit. This removes the raised grain to alleviate “fuzziness” during use. After sanding we season the cutting board with our blend of 100% beeswax and food grade mineral oil wood conditioner.
Rinse your board under warm water or use a soft cloth to wash with a mild dish detergent. Be sure to dry thoroughly with paper towels and then let your board air dry before putting away to prevent damage to the board over time. Do not submerge the board in water or wash in the dishwasher, this will ruin the cutting board. To keep your board healthy over time we recommend purchasing our Wood Conditioner, a blend of 100% natural yellow beeswax and food grade mineral oil. When applied as regular maintenance, our wood conditioner will help keep your board functioning and looking its best.
All our boards are handmade and unique. While it will closely resemble the look of the pictured boards, wood grains, textures, and colors vary from piece to piece due to natural variations in wood. Please note, walnut has a wide range of graining patterns so it will vary from board to board. The live edge will vary from board to board as the live edge follows the natural curves of the tree.
